Perseus is an NPC Starfarer in The Stars Above. He is the canonical brother of his two sisters Eridani and Asphodene.
He initially appears as a cloaked figure named the Vagrant of Space and Time. After being bested at the hands of the player, he reveals himself to be a Starfarer named Perseus. After clarifying his presence to his sister Eridani / Asphrodene (depending on the chosen Starfarer) as well as to the player, he gives an introduction to Stellar Novas and warns the player of the "First Starbearer" before briefly departing.
Personality
Perseus, throughout all of his encounters, appears as mysterious and stoic to the player. His nature is so mysterious in fact that he never announces his arrival when granting the player with a boss item, only telling the player to fight said bosses when they're properly prepared. However, according to his sisters Asphodene and Eridani and even the Bestiary, he is noted as being a "dork", suggesting his mysterious personality is simply a cover-up to hide his actual personality.
Appearance
Perseus is a white male with pale, blonde hair with a streak of green hair. Atop this is an ahoge. He has green eyes with white pupils, with a small nose and very faint lips directly beneath it. He has a small neck, curving down to his black shirt, which has only one depicted star on its shoulders (at least from the view of his character portrait). Finally, he has somewhat flabby arms which he crosses to represent his stoic demeanor.
