Bury The Light
The Bury The Light is a craftable Spatial celestial weapon that is obtainable after The Warrior Of Light has been defeated in Expert Mode.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
In Game Description
This weapon has a unique damage type; inherits bonuses from all damage classes .
When this weapon is held, gain 100% armor penetration but defense is halved.
Attacks rapidly cleave a large area and attacks will build stacks of Judgement on foes struck (Critical strikes apply two stacks of Judgement ).
Additionally, 50% of the damage is dealt as an additional slash at your cursor that does not build Judgement .
At 20 stacks of Judgement the next application of Judgement will burst in a barrage of slashes while removing all stacks of Judgement .
Right click to consume 50 mana, summoning Mirage Blades at your cursor which heal 5 HP upon striking foes (3 second cooldown).
Striking foes with Mirage Blades and executing Judgement will charge the Judgement Gauge (Drained when swapping weapons).
Press the Weapon Action Key to execute Judgement Finale , disabling attacks and consuming the Judgement Gauge .
Upon activation of Judgement Finale , dash forward after a short delay while unleashing a barrage of slashes.
Judgement Finale resolves after a short delay, instantly defeating any non-boss foe struck.
Bosses will take 100x critical damage and 10% of their Max HP as damage instead.
You are invincible for the duration of Judgement Finale .

- This weapon heavily references Yamato, Vergil's katana from the Devil May Cry series.
- The weapon effect's name, "Judgement Cut," and how this weapon attacks, references one of Vergil's special attacks of the same name.
- The "Judgement Gauge" is a reference to Vergil's Concentration gauge mechanic from Devil May Cry 4 and 5.
- The "Judgement Cut" special attack this weapon has is a mix of Vergil's "Rapid Slash" and "Judgement Cut End."
- The weapon name is the exact same as the name of Vergil's theme song in Devil May Cry 5.
- The tooltip is a reference to a joke stemming from the line "Now I'm motivated!" which Vergil says in Devil May Cry 3.
- The "Essence of the Beginning and the End" being used in it's crafting recipe is a reference to the title given to Vergil in Devil May Cry 5: "The Alpha and the Omega"
