"This battle shall be our last."

The Warrior Of Light is a Post Moon Lord boss.

Spawning

The Warrior Of Light does not spawn naturally and can be summoned by using The Progenitor's Wish, which is given to the player 2 in-game days after defeating the Moon Lord if the The Vagrant of Space and Time has also been defeated.

Behavior

Phase 1

  • Transplacement: Teleports above the player.
  • Coruscant Saber: A yellow circle appears around the Warrior of Light. After the cooldown reaches zero, the Warrior of Light slashes either inside or outside of the circle. The movement of particles indicates whether he will slash inside or outside.
  • Radiant Reprobation: Fires seven swords in an arc at the player. Upon reaching a certain distance, the swords turn around and swiftly move in the opposite direction.
  • Reflugent Reprobation: Fires seven swords in a circle, similar to Radiant Reprobation.
  • The Bitter End: Slashes at the player.
  • Passage of Arms: A ring of swords with a small gap in the ring extends outwards from the Warrior of Light. This attack is executed 3 times, with the gap location changing each time.
  • Threads of Fate: Fires white beams either vertically or directly at the player. The attack activates shortly after lines appear on the screen, indicating the positions of the beams.
  • Absolute Ice: Fires two sprays of ice in opposite directions.
  • Absolute Fire: Fires two sprays of ice in opposite directions.
  • Ephemeral Edge: A long line of swords with a set gap appear in the middle of the arena. After a short delay 2 lines of swords will fall down and rise up.
  • Ascendance: Transitions into his next "phase". Renders the player immobile and invulnerable during this transition.

Phase 1 (Under 80% HP)

The Warrior of Light will still use most of its phase 1 attacks during this phase.

  • Absolute Summoning: Summons Spectres of Light that have a variety of attacks depending on which type is spawned. They disappear shortly afterwards.
    • Spectres with Solar Flare armor will rapidly swing a projectile around them.
    • Spectres with Vortex armor will rapidly fire arrows in a set direction before disappearing.
    • Spectres with Nebula armor will fire four projectiles in a cross shape.
    • Spectres with Stardust armor summon three projectiles directly at the player.
  • Imbued Saber: Imbues his sword with a random element.
  • Imbued Coruscance: Slashes (in a pattern similar to Coruscant Saber) and fires projectiles. The element of the projectiles is determined from Imbued Saber. There is a chance that he will perform this attack with no imbued element, making it identical to Coruscant Saber.
  • Resolute Reprobation: Summons swords similar to the ones from Radiant Reprobation from random angles of the screen. Similarly, they will turn around and rapidly move backwards after travelling a certain distance.
  • Searing Light: Fires a volley of light projectiles from the top right and bottom left of the arena. The movement and position of the player affects the spawning of these projectiles.
  • Hope's Confluence: Summons rings of light projectiles that orbit the Warrior of Light with a gap between each.

Phase 2

When the Warrior of Light reaches 0 HP, he will transition into his next phase. A cutscene will play. The Warrior of Light will still use some Phase 1 attacks in this phase.

  • Paradise Lost: Changes the background and summons rings of light, similar to Hope's Confluence. Two planets will spawn above and below him, exploding after a while into four projectiles that travel a certain distance and explode into yet 8 more projectiles.
  • Katakrisis: Changes the background and fires an array of stars from an angle with a slight gap in between.
  • Absolute Zero: Freezes the player in place. The player has to spam the Stellar Nova button to escape.
  • To The Limit: Charges his Stellar Nova, either Garden of Avalon or Ars Laevateinn.
  • Ars Laevateinn: Summons a ring around the player. After a set cooldown, a giant sword rapidly spins in a circle inside the ring, damaging players inside.
  • Garden of Avalon: Summons the Garden of Avalon, protecting him from damage until the garden is destroyed.
  • Scions and Sinners: Releases slashes around him, damaging players in a large radius.

Tips

  • Look carefully at the types of spectres summoned by Absolute Summoning. There are only a few layouts possible.
    • The first Absolute Summoning after 80% HP summons Vortex spectres to block off the bottom of the arena. Fly up and move around to bait away The Bitter End.

Trivia
