Neon Veil

The Neon Veil is a biome added by the Stars Above mod, created upon world generation. It can be found generally in the center of the Underworld. It is a generally dystopic area and contains imagery reminiscent of vaporwave. The city itself appears largely abandoned, save for a few travelers that visit the area, Andyer and Garridine. Certain blocks are unable to be broken within the biome due to the Veilstruck debuff that is always inflicted upon the player when entering. Some of these blocks include the area beneath the city, which is reflective of the surface when viewed above.

Unique to the biome are items that can be found throughout the city, known as Stellar Prisms. These Stellar Prisms are located within pink-glowing towers. If the player has 100 Hardlight, a Stellar Prism can be obtained. Otherwise, the Stellar Prism will "fail to respond", stating how much more Hardlight the player needs to get. Hardlight can be acquired from any enemy, but enemies that appear in the Neon Veil will drop more.
